Fall is Proof That Change is Beautiful
Hey friends!
I can already feel the chill in the air! How about you? That smell of bonfires, the thought of comfy cozy sweaters and a warm pumpkin spice latte in my hand…you know, the scrumptious smells and feeling of fall!
As fall approaches, the air turns crisp, the leaves begin to paint the world in shades of amber, gold and crimson and a warm cup of coffee (or psl…ha ha) feels like a hug in your hands. Fall is almost here and I CAN.NOT.WAIT!! Fall is my favorite season!
There’s something about this season that whispers of God’s promises. The falling leaves remind us that change is not something to fear, but something to embrace. Just as trees let go of what they no longer need, we too are invited to release the things that weigh us down…worry, doubt, fear or even old seasons that no longer serve us.
Fall is living proof that change can be breathtakingly beautiful. In a world that often resists change, nature boldly shows us that transformation is not only necessary but also purposeful. And the same God who created the rhythm of the seasons is the One who guides the rhythm of our lives.
Jeremiah 29:11 assures us:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This verse is more than a promise; it’s an anchor when change feels uncertain. God reminds us that every shift in our lives, every new beginning and even every ending is woven into His greater plan for our good.
So, as you sip your warm cup of joe or even better…pumpkin-spiced latte, watch the leaves fall and pull on that cozy sweater…let fall remind you of this truth: change is not the end, it’s the beginning of something beautiful. Just like autumn, your life is unfolding into something filled with hope, purpose and God’s goodness.
